Our company has been operating for almost 70 years in the cold moulding of metal wire for the production of rivets and standard or “special” metal parts (to Customer design).
From the factory in Nichelino (Turin), near the main road and rail links, SATER products are exported all over the world, from Uzbekistan to China, from the Ivory Coast to Brazil

SATER products can be used in the most varied industrial sectors.
SATER’s extremely flexible production is capable of adapting to suit the needs of big companies and smaller companies alike.The raw materials used are: iron, aluminium and its alloys, copper, brass, nickel, silver and stainless steel.
Accessory machining processes can be carried out on the products, such as heat treatments and surface treatments and products can be supplied in customised packaging.

SATER, tradition and innovation since 1937
SATER -Società Anonima Trafileria E Ribattini – was established in 1937 and soon became a business focusing on technological renewal and organisational development.
Today SATER is the leading manufacturer of rivets thanks to the ability to satisfy complex industrial needs.Evolution in this sector encouraged SATER to branch out into the moulding of increasingly complex parts.

In 1994 the company became a joint stock company, with a share capital of 2.8 million Italian Lira.
The business moved to its new premises in 1996, and the new, company-owned plant measuring about 4000 square metres houses the fully renewed systems and over 40 presses, with increased production capacity and optimised working cycles.
1999 was the year in which the company took over Mondon Ribattini, which brought its historical know how in the production of small parts, significantly expanding the range of products offered by SATER |

Quality
Quality and Customer Service have always been SATER’s aims and in 1999 the company was awarded ISO 9001: 1994 certification. This certification was aligned in 2002 to the requisites of UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 (TUV Sud Italia di Certificazione ISO 9001) to comply with the periodical inspections by the TUV, the highly respected certification board based in Germany.

Environment
It is becoming increasingly necessary to operate with a view to protecting the environment. To this end, in July 2007, SATER Srl attained the certification of its ENVIRONMENTAL Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, undertaking to constantly implement improvement activities to reduce the relative environmental impacts.
